Reference Service
The Lamont Public Library has Reference Service available to you. We take questions in person, by phone (563) 924-3203, or via emailing lamontpubliclibrary616@gmail.com.
You may ask any library staff person and the question may be referred to another staff person, depending on the question and the expertise of various staff members.
We will do our best to find the answers as quickly as possible and get back to you, but the length of time depends on the scope of the question and current library activities, as we do not have a designated reference staff.
We’re very lucky to have Iowa Shares available in our community! Thanks to this program, we can request books from any participating library at no cost to you.
If there’s a book you’d like to read that we don’t have in our collection, just ask! We’ll be happy to request it for you!
